Ejaaz Patel

Ejaaz is the founder & CEO at Applio Ventures. He co-ordinates Applio Ventures' policy research, and believes that the future for UK professional services rests on how well firms capture the growing momentum of high-growth emerging markets across the GCC, APAC and LATAM.

During his time at Applio Ventures, he has led the firm's venture-building initiatives to support the professional services sector evolve its sales, data and AI proficiency and literacy, via the rollout of 4 AI and SaaS based products. Before Applio Ventures, Ejaaz's professional experience includes time at Anthemis, where he was involved in the portfolio and risk management of its $300M venture fund portfolio, as well as 4C Associates, where he was a management consultant working on data transformation, project management and policy advisory engagements for the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, UK Atomic Energy Authority and PE-backed companies. He received a BA (Hons) in Classics from University College London.
